The N/Z-fold hand towel machine processes paper material through embossing, slitting, cutting and vacuum interfolding. It produces orderly interfolded paper towels suitable for hotels, offices, kitchens and other commercial or public locations.

The standard configuration is suitable for producing N/Z-fold hand towels without glue lamination. A two-ply glue lamination system can be ordered as an optional configuration.

Function and Characteristics

1. Production speed: 60–100 m/min.

2. Steel-to-steel embossing unit.

3. Pneumatic automatic paper-break separation for convenient paper threading.

4. Synchronous-belt transmission provides an accurate transmission ratio and low operating noise.

5. Applicable base paper range: 33–45 g/m² for single-ply paper.

6. Two-ply glue lamination is available as an optional configuration.

Optional Two-Ply Glue Lamination Configuration

The optional glue lamination unit applies adhesive between two paper plies before interfolding. It helps bond the two plies and supports the production of laminated N/Z-fold hand towels.

The glue application method, embossing pattern, paper basis weight and finished-towel specification shall be confirmed according to the customer’s paper and finished-product samples.

Configuration note: Glue lamination is not included in the standard XY-BT-288 configuration and must be specified when ordering.

Main Technical Parameters:

Folding terminology note: The original machine specification describes vacuum-suction N-fold production. Z-fold is also commonly used for the same interfolded hand towel application. This wording does not change the machine’s technical parameter values.
